High-Definition CNC Plasma Cutting Services
When fabricating massive industrial bases, offshore structural platforms, and heavy mining components, High-Definition (HD) Plasma Cutting is the premier balance of speed, economy, and precision.
Operating from our 180-acre manufacturing complex, Openex houses massive large-format plasma gantry tables spanning up to 20 meters (65 feet) in length. Powered by world-class generators, our systems deliver virtually dross-free edge quality, sharp internal corners, and tight profile tolerances on structural carbon steels, stainless steel alloys, and aluminum plates up to 100mm thick.
🌊 Advanced Underwater Plasma Technology
A primary concern with thermal cutting on large heavy plates is the Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ), which can cause metal warping and bowing. To completely neutralize this, Openex operates massive Underwater CNC Plasma Tables.
- ✔ Virtually Eliminates Thermal Distortion
- ✔ Superior Edges Requiring Less Secondary Milling
- ✔ Greatly Reduces Oxidation on Cut Surfaces
- ✔ Mitigates Hazardous Fumes and Airborne Dust

Integrated Plasma Bevelling for AWS Weld Prep
Many massive assemblies, like pressure vessels and shipbuilding hulls, require precise V-bevels, Y-bevels, or K-bevels before submerged arc welding (SAW) can begin.
Our advanced CNC plasma machines feature fully articulated 5-axis contour bevel heads. This allows Openex to perform standard shape profiling and exact angle weld-prep chamfering in a single, fluid automated setup, radically accelerating production cycles compared to manual bevelling.
