Process Equipment Frames

Heavy Support Structures for Critical Process Equipment

In chemical plants, refineries, and power generation facilities, the structural framework is just as critical as the equipment it holds. Process equipment frames must carry massive static and dynamic loads—supporting heavy pressure vessels, vibrating pumps, thermal reactors, and miles of dense piping.

Openex specializes in the large-scale fabrication of custom process equipment frames, modular skids, and vessel support structures. Because process environments are often highly corrosive or subject to extreme temperatures, we offer specialized welding of Stainless Steel and Duplex alloys, alongside advanced industrial coating systems for Carbon Steel frames.

Built for Severe Environments

1
Heavy Structural Welding

Process frames endure constant vibration from motors and pumps. Our AWS-certified welders utilize full-penetration welding techniques to ensure joints never fatigue or crack under dynamic loads.

2
Precision Machining of Mounts

If a pump or compressor is bolted to an uneven surface, bearings will fail prematurely. We use large gantry mills to machine mounting pads perfectly flat, ensuring perfect rotational alignment for your equipment.

3
Industrial Coating & Galvanizing

To survive chemical spills, saltwater, or harsh weather, process frames require ultimate protection. We operate massive in-house grit blasting and painting booths to apply high-build epoxy and chemical-resistant coatings.

4
Integration & Assembly

We don't just build the steel frame. We can pre-assemble your pressure vessels, piping (spooling), and mechanical components directly onto the skid before shipping it to your plant.
