Because we house 250-ton lifting cranes, incredibly large thermal stress relief furnaces, and massive gantry milling centers under one roof, we can fabricate and machine heavy structural weldments that most shops simply cannot handle.

Our Work: Heavy Frames
The Manufacturing Process
Structural steel plates and massive I-beams are precision-cut and heavily bevelled to prepare the joints for deep, full-penetration welding.
Our AWS/ASME certified welders utilize Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and FCAW to assemble the massive structural grid, ensuring no voids or defects.
Before machining, the entire weldment is placed in our giant on-site furnace. Relieving the internal weld stresses ensures the frame will not warp or twist during its operational life.
The stress-relieved frame is moved to our massive gantry mills. We precision machine all mounting pads, motor mounts, and bearing journals to ensure perfect flatness and alignment for final assembly.
