Large-scale industrial facilities, offshore platforms, and heavy mining machinery require robust, highly engineered structural frameworks. These massive structures must support extreme static and dynamic loads, requiring absolute perfection in deep-penetration welding and geometric alignment.

With 180 acres of factory space and overhead lifting capacities up to 250 tons, Openex is built for heavy structural fabrication. We specialize in the turnkey manufacturing of oversized structural steel frames, heavy equipment chassis, and complex modular grid structures that simply will not fit in standard fabrication shops.

The Manufacturing & QC Process

Heavy Profile & Plate Cutting

Using CNC plasma, laser, and heavy sawing centers, we process massive I-beams, H-beams, structural tubing, and heavy gusset plates to exact lengths and bevel angles.

Certified Full-Penetration Welding

Our certified welders execute multi-pass Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) to ensure maximum joint strength across the entire load-bearing frame.

100% NDT & Laser Tracking

Structural failures are not an option. We utilize Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to inspect critical welds, followed by Laser Tracker inspection to verify overall frame geometry.

Blasting & Industrial Coating

To protect against extreme weather or corrosive industrial environments, completed frames are moved into our massive steel grit blasting booths, followed by multi-coat epoxy or polyurethane painting.
