Why OEMs Choose Openex
High-Strength Material Processing
Construction machinery relies on high-strength, low-alloy (HSLA) and wear-resistant steels like Hardox, Strenx, and AR400/500. We possess the massive 3000T press brakes and high-definition plasma cutters required to accurately form and cut these incredibly tough materials without compromising their metallurgical integrity.
Certified Heavy Welding & NDT
A failed weld on a crane boom is catastrophic. Our AWS-certified welders utilize advanced Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and robotic welding cells for deep penetration on heavy joints. Every critical weld undergoes strict in-house Non-Destructive Testing (UT, MT, RT) to guarantee structural perfection.
Post-Weld Large Part Machining
After complex chassis and booms are welded, they often warp slightly due to heat. Our gigantic 5-axis gantry mills and floor boring machines allow us to machine massive post-weld assemblies, ensuring perfectly aligned pin holes and mounting surfaces.
