Heavy-Duty Boiler Component Fabrication
Industrial boilers and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) are the beating heart of power plants, petrochemical refineries, and large-scale manufacturing facilities. Operating under extreme pressure and severe thermal stress, these components require flawless metallurgy, precision thick-walled forming, and 100% defect-free welding.
Openex is a world-class contract manufacturer equipped to build massive boiler components. From rolling 150mm thick steel plates for heavy steam drums to robotic welding for complex water wall panels, our 180-acre facility has the heavy lifting capacity (up to 250 tons) and strict ASME BPVC compliance required to deliver critical power generation equipment safely and on schedule.
Boiler Parts We Manufacture
🔥 Steam Drums & Vessels
Thick-walled cylindrical vessels designed for high pressure. We handle heavy plate rolling, precise seam welding, and massive nozzle integrations.
🔥 Headers & Manifolds
Heavy-duty collection and distribution headers machined and welded from high-grade creep-resistant alloy steel pipes.
🔥 Water Wall Panels
Large-scale fin-to-tube welded panels utilizing automated sub-arc and robotic welding for consistent, continuous high-pressure seals.
🔥 Superheaters & Economizers

The Boiler Manufacturing Process
Boiler grade plates are precisely profile-cut, edges are beveled for deep weld penetration, and massive CNC plate rollers form the cylinders for steam drums and heavy shells.
Our ASME and AWS certified welders utilize Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and TIG processes to join the thick structural seams and integrate massive high-pressure nozzles.
Because heavy welding introduces internal stress, massive boiler components are placed into our on-site thermal stress relief furnaces. Final parts undergo strict hydrostatic pressure testing and X-ray weld inspection.
