Featured Papermaking Components
Paper Machine Cantilever Beams
To allow for fast and efficient felt and wire changes without fully disassembling the machine, press section frames rely on robust cantilever beams. We fabricate exceptionally stiff beams utilizing high-strength steel. These are deeply welded and thoroughly stress-relieved before final CNC planer-milling, guaranteeing zero load-bearing deflection when changing the clothing roll.
Quality Control Scanner Frames
Scanner frames (O-Frames and C-Frames) support precision measurement instruments passing continuously over the paper web. Any micro-vibrations will cause inaccurate moisture and caliper readings. We use thick plate fabrication and precision alignment milling to produce O-frames that dampen frequency vibrations, allowing sensors to traverse the paper web flawlessly.
Collection Trays & Drain Pans
Placed directly beneath the wire section and presses to capture white water and pulp runoff, these wide-span pans are exposed to constant acidic and wet conditions. We use strictly segregated 304L and 316L stainless steel TIG welding. Welds are fully passivated and polished to prevent localized corrosion, pulp buildup, or contamination.
