Virtual Factory Tour

Welcome to Openex

Inside Our 180-Acre Facility

Seeing is believing. Spanning 180 acres with expansive indoor high-bay assembly halls, Openex is one of the world’s most fully-integrated custom metal fabricators.

Our plant layout was explicitly engineered for extreme scale and streamlined heavy logistics. With overhead bridge cranes spanning every square meter of the floor and large bays rolling right out to sea-freight transport access, we ensure no blueprint is ever hindered by spatial limitations.

Facility Work Zones

Follow the exact path of your product as it transforms from raw plate to a fully integrated massive assembly.

Zone 01

Material Handling & Cutting Center

The journey starts in our climate-controlled raw materials warehouse. High-capacity vacuum lifts feed pristine steel plates into our CNC multi-head plasma, laser, and waterjet profile cutting tables to guarantee a flawless initial blank.

Zone 02

Forming & Structural Assembly Bays

Our highest clearance bays are dedicated to the thick-plate rolling of vessel cylinders and massive Submerged Arc Welding (SAW). Parts are mounted on 150-ton rotational head-tailstock positioners for gravity-assisted pristine weld beds.

Zone 03

Precision CNC Machining Halls

Following structural welding and thermal stress relief (PWHT), weldments are transported to the 5-axis gantry milling halls. Our isolated foundations prevent microscopic vibrations, allowing absolute precision tolerances on frames weighing hundreds of tons.

Zone 04

Inspection & Coating Center

Parts move directly into strictly contained, climate-controlled QA/CMM measurement zones and heavy grit blasting/painting rooms. By avoiding outsourcing, there is zero risk of oxidation before multi-stage protective coatings are applied.

Final Stage: 250-Ton Loading Out

You have a massive product assembled. Now, how do you ship it?

Our factory terminates into over-sized heavy haulage loadout doors specifically designed for massive trailers and heavy platform rigs to drive directly beneath our 250-ton cranes. We integrate perfectly with deep water ocean-port logistics to ship anywhere globally.
