Overcoming the Biggest Manufacturing Bottleneck
Machining, forming, and welding a colossal metal structure is only half the battle. Rotating it safely, transitioning it smoothly between factory departments, and executing final logistics without structural stress is where standard job shops fail. At Openex, moving monumental weights is a core feature of our daily operations.
Our sprawling 180-acre manufacturing plant was architecturally designed with maximum overhead capacity in mind. Featuring heavily reinforced steel building frameworks and dedicated heavy load-out doors, our logistics infrastructure guarantees that component weight or dimensions will rarely dictate design limitations.
Factory Crane & Lift Systems
Complete Grid Coverage
Openex maintains an interconnected network of 64 specialized FranTech overhead bridge and gantry cranes running along expansive elevated railways. This grid allows raw material and colossal weldments to move securely between machining hubs, massive 30-meter NDT bunkers, heat-treatment furnaces, and staging lines with completely unimpeded fluidity.
Tandem Dual Hoisting (450-Ton)
Some components, like massive jacket legs or immense bridge infrastructure beams, require simultaneous control. Our engineered Tandem Hoisting operations yield a combined safe lifting limit of 450 Tons, safely displacing immense weights using spreader beams designed for perfect stress reduction and equilibrium.
Unrestricted Vertical (25 Meters)
Turning massive heat exchanger shells or 20-meter dump beds vertical is highly precarious in normal shops. Utilizing heavy rigging, specific building architectures provide us a vast hook height of up to 25 Meters, granting immense space required to orient pieces upright or position giant blocks into our Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) assemblies.
Load-Out to Final Export Logistics
Building a massive subsea structure doesn't matter if it can't exit the factory building safely. We boast specially oversized, extreme high-bay doors granting open paths from final integration floors to our exterior multi-axle heavy haul loading areas. Upon exiting our gates, global distribution links securely load units to port terminals, barge fleets, and railways seamlessly to complete complex procurement routes.
